Principor
Communications Named Agency of Record by WASHINGTON, DCSeptember 20 , 2004Principor Communications, a public relations agency that provides strategic communications counsel and services to growth-oriented enterprises, today announced it has been chosen to provide public relations support for Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC) (www.dmec.org) of San Diego, California. DMEC is Principors first association client. This is our first time working with a PR agency, said Sharon Kaleta, CEO of DMEC. Principors experienced staff has demonstrated an ability to focus its public relations programs on discrete goals. We felt the fit was right. Principor Communications will assist DMEC to increase the organizations membership. In addition, the firm of senior staff will work with DMECs leadership to bring attention to critical employer cost issues, including disability and incidental absence. A particular focus will be DMECs program to offer solutions to reduce disability-related costs in call centers. Earlier this year, Principor worked with DMEC to produce and disseminate the results of the first-ever survey on employee incidental absence and employer efforts to reduce it. Principor was creative in packaging our incidental absence survey results to generate significant media coverage, added Kaleta. The coverage has educated our membership and other employers about a critical issue, as well as ignited interest in joining DMEC. About Principor
