Media Relations: Interview Results in Business Win, Sizeable Revenue Gains
Especially in the current economic climate, public relations is measured by how it drives sales and other concrete goals. Heres proof it works. In August 2002, Principor Communications was retained by Deerfield, IL-based Workers Transition Network (WTN), a provider of re-employment and return-to-work solutions in the workers compensation field. WTN has laid out an aggressive growth plan through partnerships with large national and regional insurance companies and self-insured companies. Since Principor works with technology and other growth-oriented enterprises, WTN is a perfect fit for its brand of aggressive, results-oriented communications. In August, Principor announced WTNs partnership with American International Group, the worlds largest insurance company. In the outreach to support the press release, Principor scheduled interviews for WTNs executives with a number of key publications, including Workers Comp Managed Care, a bible in the industry. The influential publication ran an article describing WTN and how it benefits insurers. Within two weeks, WTN received a call from a top three insurance company inviting the WTN to its Connecticut headquarters to present its capabilities to the insurers decision makers. WTN executives participated in a 90 minute presentation and discussion. Four weeks later, WTN had a signed contract. When fully implemented, the agreement will increase WTNÕs revenue by at least 25%. Strategic, aggressive, results-oriented PR works. If youd like to learn more about how PR can work for your organization, contact Principor Communications at 202-595-9008 or info@principor.com.
